    • Expertise in brioche baking for delicious products to share

A staple since 1973, Sicard embodies a passion for flavor and the preservation of Vendée's culinary traditions. Founded by Monique and Roger Sicard, this family business has become a benchmark thanks to its local roots and its unwavering commitment to quality. To showcase regional products with simplicity, it relies on a team of 180 employees, including 50 passionate production staff, and uses ingredients sourced from western France, such as flour from millers located within 100 km. This short supply chain, combined with artisanal standards, allows them to offer authentic products that are the pride of the region.

The art of brioche and gâche: a protected heritage

Sicard 's reputation rests primarily on its exceptional mastery of Vendée Brioche and Vendée Gâche. To protect this heritage from industrial excesses, the company has adopted the PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) approach. This label guarantees adherence to strict specifications and traditional production methods.

To satisfy all desires, the range is generously available:

      • Brioches for all tastes: plain, with pearl sugar, sprinkled with chocolate chips or with praline,
      • Local specialties include Swiss-style cakes and sugar tarts alongside the famous Gâteau Minute, or even Fion Vendée.
      • Delicious creations : brioche pastries and filled muffins, not forgetting the organic range for responsible consumption.

The flavors of conviviality at Sicard

Beyond its sweet offerings, Sicard is a professional bakery that keeps the tradition of breadmaking alive. In its four bakeries equipped with wood-fired ovens, the bread is made on-site and baked using traditional methods, resulting in a crispy crust and an airy crumb. The selection is complemented by a range of préfous in various flavors, this garlic bread typical of the Vendée region, which has become an essential part of the aperitif.

Whether it's the brioche doughnuts beloved by summer visitors or specialty breads, each product reflects the brand's simplicity and generosity. To make your shopping easier, an online store will launch on August 1st. It will allow you to order these gourmet specialties online. Available in a network of 20 stores open 7 days a week, Sicard products guarantee you'll rediscover the true taste of the Vendée region, a blend of authenticity and modernity.
