La Bergerie du Brandais, a visit open to groups in Vendée
Walking in the open air, petting a sheep, running in the fields... there is no age limit for enjoying sharing good times in all simplicity. Based in Talmont-Saint-Hilaire, between Longeville-sur-Mer, Jard-sur-Mer and Les Sables-d'Olonne, Damien and Noémie welcome you to the Bergerie du Brandais for a visit punctuated by the bleating of the sheep.
Every Wednesday afternoon from 3pm to 6:30pm between Easter and All Saints' Day, young and old are welcome to the farm to help bring the sheep in from the fields, and take part in milking from 5pm . With family, friends, school groups or professionals, visits are free to discover the Bergerie du Brandais and its activity alongside Damien and Noémie, two enthusiasts delighted to present their animals and their dairy products.
The open shop allows you to taste and buy the delicious raw sheep's milk cheeses made on site, from small sweet treats to fresh cheese to tomme matured for more than 6 months. The Vendée sheep's milk tomme even won a GOLD medal at the LYON 2022 international competition!
