Responsible and educational , the Vendée Aquarium allows everyone to better understand the importance of preserving species and the environment, through a rich and exciting trail presented in the form of a treasure hunt. Equipped with a photo folder, the little ones must find the right animals in the pools, while a questionnaire is filled out as the visit progresses using the descriptive sheets for each species. Activities and workshops complete the visit with feeding the animals, but also appropriate themes such as "sharks, endangered species", "what is a fish" or "the sea at your fingertips". Older children also have the privilege of having a behind-the-scenes tour accompanied by a biologist technician who will reveal all the secrets of how an aquarium works.

There are many opportunities to dive together into the unique and incredible world of the seas and oceans. Guided tours and behind-the-scenes tours are available to groups of 10 people for seniors, and 20 people for the general public, with a feeding package added if the number of participants exceeds 30.
