From April 4th to September 30th, 2026, let Damien from Original Vélo Tour, your local expert and only professional cycling guide in the Marais Poitevin, be your guide. I'll take you to explore, at your own pace, the winding canals and verdant plots that shape this fascinating area between land and sea.
What cycling adventure appeals to you?
- The Green Venice Bike Getaway (2h00): Immerse yourself in the heart of preserved nature, a true bubble of serenity among majestic poplars, peaceful cows and the ballet of birds.
- Availability: Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays.
- 10:00, 14:00 and 16:30.
- Discovery Day in the Footsteps of the Monks : Experience total immersion in the history and culture of the Marais Poitevin! Unique in its kind, this day full of discoveries combines:
- a peaceful guided boat trip and a visit to a historically rich abbey in the morning,
- a delicious lunch of regional products
- A guided tour of a craft brewery and a friendly tasting in the afternoon. All connected by pleasant bike rides!
- Availability: Tuesdays and Fridays.
- From 10:00 am to 5:30 pm.
- A Discovery Day in the Footsteps of the Poitou Donkey : Do you love wild nature and authenticity? This day is for you! On the program:
- a guided boat tour of the wild marsh lasting 1 hour 30 minutes,
- a gourmet lunch featuring local flavors,
- A delightful encounter with Poitou donkeys at a family-run farm and the discovery of the secrets of artisanal soap making. And of course, cycling routes to fully enjoy the scenery!
