  We stayed three nights at the Fleur de Sel hotel in Noirmoutier, and our overall opinion is mixed, with some very positive aspects and others that were more challenging. Upon arrival, we were a little disappointed with the room: located under the eaves, it had a sloping ceiling and was therefore quite cramped, which made our stay less comfortable than expected. Furthermore, the presence of a bathtub (without a shower) proved inconvenient, especially as I was eight months pregnant. With the intense heat, the lack of air conditioning made the nights particularly difficult, despite a fan that proved insufficient. This really impacted our stay, to the point that I unfortunately suffered from heatstroke. Regarding the facilities, we found it a shame that the swimming pool only opened at 10:30 a.m. and closed at 8:00 p.m., especially during periods of intense heat when the most pleasant times are early in the morning or in the evening. On the other hand, several very positive points should be highlighted. The breakfast was varied and enjoyable, although we would have appreciated more homemade items. A big thank you also for the complimentary charging of our electric vehicle: it was a real bonus and a very much appreciated gesture. We would especially like to warmly thank the receptionist for her kindness and attentiveness. She regularly checked on us, particularly regarding my pregnancy, and gave us valuable advice on how to better cope with the heat. A big thank you also to the housekeeping staff, who were always smiling, available, and pleasant. In short, a pleasant hotel with a very friendly and attentive team, but one that could benefit from some improvements in terms of comfort (air conditioning, room layout, amenities) to meet expectations, especially during the summer months.

  A superb and relaxing stay. The hotel is specially designed for children with a multitude of indoor and outdoor games. The food is excellent, the setting peaceful and wooded. The swimming pool is very pleasant. The staff is charming. An excellent place to stay for families with children.

  We often come here for lunch and dinner, and it's one of the best restaurants on the island. In addition, the hotel is very pleasant and the staff are equally so.
