The Hotel Jacobsen is a museum in homage to this great family, which worked for the economic development of the island of Noirmoutier. This large maritime heritage center offers 10 exhibition rooms. The collections are very rich and diversified, with objects on the theme of maritime trade, furniture, Chinese porcelain, from the family's travels. Part of the museum is devoted to geology and the island environment, with an animated map of the formation of the island.
