Founded in 1989 in Les Herbiers, Vendée, Maison Royer is a family-run snail farm renowned for its expertise. The company raises its snails with passion, respecting both the animals and the environment.
Visitors are invited to discover the inner workings of snail farming through an educational tour : reproduction, nursery, outdoor enclosures… A complete immersion to understand the life cycle of the snail and the profession of snail farmer.
Maison Royer also develops an agri-food business, with products made on site.
From this expertise was born Royer Cosmétique, a range of organic skincare products based on snail slime from the family farm. An original visit, both delicious and educational, ideal for families or groups of friends.
