This renovated historic estate offers a range of gîtes ( 3 stars ) and guest rooms ( 3 épis Gîtes de France ) with authentic charm in a bucolic and peaceful countryside setting.
  What has made this place unique in Vendée since 2009 is its llama breeding. Guests have the opportunity to discover this atypical animal thanks to educational visits on site and workshops around wool.
  The accommodation offers all the necessary comfort, with gîtes for up to 15 people and guest rooms for up to 8 people, including a family suite. Each accommodation, in the farmhouse or the stately home, guarantees serenity and tranquility.
  The Fief Guibert is the ideal starting point for exploring the treasures of the region : close to the beaches of the Vendée coast ( 38 km ), not far from the famous Puy du Fou ( 60 km ), and close to activities such as horse riding or hiking thanks to the path along the River Vie. The owners also offer table d'hôtes and equestrian gîte packages.

Thank you, Angélique, for the perfect organization of the "From Wool to Yarn" event (March 27-29, 2026). You allowed me to discover and experience every step of the process, from the visit to the llama farm (remarkable!!!) to the finished skein, with plenty of explanations, references, and even some excellent documentation, all in a very friendly atmosphere. Thank you also to David and your children, with whom the delicious meals were such enjoyable moments of sharing. I loved the spacious, comfortable, and very well-equipped gîte. The four of you are all passionate, energetic, and genuinely welcoming. Thank you for this excellent weekend! I might just be tempted to come back!

I had the pleasure of spending a weekend in the Lama Suite at Le Fief Guibert guesthouse, and everything was simply perfect. The suite is spacious, clean, bathed in light, with a breathtaking view of the grounds. The breakfast, entirely homemade, was both generous and delicious. Our stay concluded with a visit to the llama farm, a significant moment that fully reflects this family's sincere commitment to animal welfare. If you're looking for a truly enriching experience of sharing and connection, while enjoying a magnificent setting, look no further!

A huge thank you to Angélique and David for the warm welcome, their cozy guest room, and their kindness. I had a wonderful night, enjoying the complete silence and the soothing sound of owls.
