- A little further south, the small town of Jard-sur-Mer is a pleasant base for holidays, far from the hustle and bustle of the big resorts, but at the same time so close. You can go for a walk at the Pointe du Payré, which borders Talmont. Next to the marina, have fun at the fairground amusement park. There is also a pretty mill (which cannot be visited) to admire and of course not far away, the beach (8 beaches in the town).
