  A Busy Sunday Lunchtime There was a large outdoor seating area with awnings (appreciated as it was pretty warm) with views out of the oyster tanks and the river beyond, it is a lovely location - it was really busy, but staff found a table for us and basically we went a bit mad and had Huîtres, Crevettes roses and Langoustine. All were wonderful and fresh. We tried a cooled pichet of both the Muscadet and Rosé du Payre Vendée - both perfect accompaniments to the food. Prices were very reasonable. Service was good and staff were really friendly, we loved our visit. As we left we popped into their small shop and purchased some wine and tinned goods to enjoy during our holiday.

  We visited here and tried out their oysters (size 1). They were nice and very reasonably priced but I'm not a big fan of oysters but hubby loved them. We also had shrimp which was delicious. Would definately come back again as staff was very friendly and even though our French is non existent except a few words they managed to understand what we wanted, with a little help with Google translate lol.

  We have been coming here for several years now during our summer holiday. It is a visite we look forward to. The terras is nice. Nothing fancy, a lot of seats in the shade. To us it's perfect. The staff is friendly and helpful. The oysters, shrimps, langoustines, rilettes and wines are good. Only thing is the toilet. They don't have their own. You can use the public toilet at the entrance of the beach, which is not very clean. But if you know this beforehand you can plan accordingly.
