In Jard-sur-Mer, a charming seaside resort in the Vendée region, you quickly fall into the holiday rhythm. Between its lively port, fine sandy beaches, rocky coasts ideal for shellfish gathering, and pine forests, everything invites you to fully enjoy the great outdoors. Cycle paths and footpaths lead to Pointe du Payré or the port of La Guittière, where oyster farmers are happy to share their expertise… and sometimes even an oyster tasting.

The 5-star Océano d'Or campsite, part of the family-run Chadotel chain, enjoys a prime location in the heart of Jard-sur-Mer, just 1,200 meters from Boisvinet beach. Here, a car quickly becomes unnecessary: restaurants, shops, the market, the beach, and walking trails are all easily accessible on foot or by bicycle. The campsite is open from April to October, making it ideal for enjoying the Vendée region from spring to autumn.

With its 450 pitches spread over more than 8 hectares, Océano d'Or is the largest Chadotel campsite. It offers pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, with or without private sanitary facilities, as well as comfortable mobile homes, suitable for stays as a couple, with family or with friends.

At the heart of the campsite, the water park delights the whole family: heated pools, an indoor pool, water slides, water games, a lazy river, and a hot tub fill the days with relaxation and laughter. Children aged 4 to 12 can enjoy the Chadokids kids' club, while older children and adults can take advantage of the sports activities, the fitness room, or the padel court.

For food lovers, the L'Océ'Bon restaurant, located within the campsite, is a favorite with both holidaymakers and locals. Open to everyone, including those not staying at the campsite, it offers a friendly atmosphere, ideal for sharing a meal with family or friends in a relaxed setting.
