At Comptoir La Sablaise in Les Sables d'Olonne, the "La Sablaise Experience" tour offers an hour-long immersion into the world of canning : a presentation of its history, a 360° virtual reality headset to discover the various professions within the industry, a demonstration of traditional techniques, and a tasting of products. This engaging format is designed to be enjoyed with family, friends, or groups of seafood enthusiasts.
The 1-hour tour costs €6 per person and requires booking through the tourist office (Thursdays at 10:30 am from September to May, and Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 10:30 am in June, July, and August). The adjoining shop, open year-round from Tuesday to Saturday, offers the opportunity to extend your visit with some gourmet treats.
