Les Sables-d'Olonne

Les Sables d'Olonne is a large town, which brings together the municipalities of Château d'Olonne, Sables d'Olonne and Olonne-sur-Mer, to become the second largest municipality in Vendée and the Côte from light. Cod fishing, salt trading, the nautical origins of Les Sables d'Olonne do not date from yesterday, boats docked in its port for 800 years. Today, there are 3 ports in the city: Port Olona can accommodate 1,500 boats, it is the largest in Vendée. The Port de Plaisance continues Quai Garnier to accommodate very large boats up to 15.50m, nearby, a lively district! There is also a fishing port and a trading port.
