On a weekend break in St Gilles Croix de Vie, we arrived as a couple with our two children (a baby in a stroller and a three-year-old girl). We asked if we could sit down for a drink, and the lady seemed annoyed to see us with two strollers. We also pointed out that it was 11:45 a.m., that there was plenty of space, and that, in any case, it shouldn't be a big deal to welcome us with a smile. She replied, "How many of you are there?" We replied that it was just the two of us with our children. We didn't have time to say more; she pointed out to my companion that he was in the way because a customer was behind him. The space was certainly narrow, but we were also just arriving. She didn't seat us; we waited to see where we could sit because the tables inside were set; we didn't want to disturb them. She ended up showing us a small lounge without saying a word, without a smile. We decided to leave the establishment due to this blatant lack of sympathy, friendliness and professionalism.

We loved this restaurant, especially because of Nico's friendly, welcoming attitude. 😄 As for the meal, it was incredible, homemade, combining flavor, visual appeal, and quantity. Nothing to complain about except... go there with your eyes closed. Looking forward to returning ☺️

Great welcome! The cocktails were very good, and the tuna tataki was a real treat! The desserts were simple, effective, and delicious. Definitely worth a try!
