Sérigné is located north of Fontenay-le-Comte and the Marais Poitevin Regional Natural Park. It is a small nature commune, well located to also discover the Pays de la Châtaigneraie.

A bit of history and heritage

The city has a rich past, marked by Gallo-Roman remains as evidenced by the sarcophagi discovered at La Muanderie. Its church, for its part, is a mixture of architectural styles from different periods. This gives it a very special charm.
