Sérigné is located north of Fontenay-le-Comte, and the Marais Poitevin Regional Natural Park. It is a small natural commune and well located for also discovering the Pays de la Chataigneraie. Take a walk on the walking path "the millstone circuit" to explore the local buildings and learn more about the sandstone millstones that were used in the region's mills. 14km of walking to be done in around 4 hours. The Longèves Valley, the river which flows through the town before flowing into the Vendée , can be discovered during another 11km walk departing from the village church.
