About

  • English
    • Sérigné is located north of Fontenay-le-Comte and the Marais Poitevin Regional Natural Park. It is a small nature commune, well located to also discover the Pays de la Châtaigneraie.

A bit of history and heritage

The city has a rich past, marked by Gallo-Roman remains as evidenced by the sarcophagi discovered at La Muanderie. Its church, for its part, is a mixture of architectural styles from different periods. This gives it a very special charm.

      Nature and leisure

Close to the Marais Poitevin, Sérigné is an ideal starting point for walks and activities in the great outdoors. Walk along the Vallée de la Longèves , the river that flows through the town before flowing into the Vendée.

      • Hiking enthusiasts can explore local trails, such as the “Les Meules” and “Le Gué” circuits.
      • Cyclists will find what they are looking for on the mountain bike circuits.
