The old fortified castle of Tiffauges is now in ruins, but there are still enough old stones to get an idea of the original building. In the 12th century, this fortified complex replaced the first protections of the castle motte. From the top of the fortress, you will admire a magnificent square keep with buttresses. You will visit the fortress and the conservatory of war machines. Many outdoor activities and shows are organized there throughout the year.
