This was our second visit in our motorhome and we ended up staying for 3 weeks. Laura and Quentin are so friendly and helpful telling us of local festivals to visit and we was lucky to be there when they hosted the local baker to bake his special bread over a wood fire served with garlic, cheese and sardines. So many places to visit in easy cycling distance from ruined Abbeys to a bird sanctuary and lots of little villages/towns. Quentin makes delicious galettes and crepes and just a short walk to the Au Bord de l'Eau for a board of delicious local produce or pizza on a Sunday. The pitches are a good size with EHU and water, showers and toilets are spotless. Lots of trees on site so shade was available on those hot days. Already missing the sound of frogs in the evening, we will certainly be back again.

A hidden gem! Pure passion, hospitality, and charm! We stayed spontaneously for two nights at Camping Le Marais Sauvage, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. It’s a beautifully landscaped, cozy little campsite surrounded by nature in the heart of the "Green Venice" of France. What stands out immediately is the extreme friendliness of the owners. The atmosphere is very welcoming and family-like, and the entire campsite is exceptionally clean—we have rarely seen such a well-maintained place! You can really tell that everything is run with a lot of love and attention to detail. Do not miss out on eating there! The owners treated us to fantastic local specialties, including delicious galettes and crêpes. They also organize great little events directly on-site—during our stay, they used a traditional oven to bake fresh Préfou, which was amazing. We can recommend this campsite 100% and would love to return anytime!
