  Muriel and Patrick Guyau have been oyster farmers since 1991. They are committed to raising and producing quality oysters and seafood caught with respect for the environment and European standards. Their oyster beds are in the Payré Estuary and the oyster store/cabin is open for tasting in Talmont-Saint-Hilaire.
  
  Vendée oysters are delicious, salty and delicate. Their flesh is generous and yet not very greasy, their texture is silky and their inimitable taste flatters the most demanding taste buds. Guyau oysters are available in several sizes, varieties and types of ripening. It is also possible to buy seafood, shellfish and crustaceans at the store. To organize a seafood meal, consider asking for advice and ordering a platter to delight your guests or your family. Directly from the producer to the consumer, the oysters are taken out of the parks and basins before your eyes, ultimate freshness guaranteed!

We visited here and tried out their oysters (size 1). They were nice and very reasonably priced but I'm not a big fan of oysters but hubby loved them. We also had shrimp which was delicious. Would definately come back again as staff was very friendly and even though our French is non existent except a few words they managed to understand what we wanted, with a little help with Google translate lol.

We have been coming here for several years now during our summer holiday. It is a visite we look forward to. The terras is nice. Nothing fancy, a lot of seats in the shade. To us it's perfect. The staff is friendly and helpful. The oysters, shrimps, langoustines, rilettes and wines are good. Only thing is the toilet. They don't have their own. You can use the public toilet at the entrance of the beach, which is not very clean. But if you know this beforehand you can plan accordingly.

We dined twice during our 2-d stay, the service was prof. and warm. They cleaned the oyster perfectly compared w other suppliers. personally I enjoyed the no. 0 and the white wine from the local. Ps. My partner is not a big oyster fan, but the oysters here def. open his appetite. Highly Recommanded.
