The hotel was perfect for us. The pool area was lovely and clean as were the rooms. However it would have been nice to have a fridge in the rooms. We are in the restaurant which was lovely and a very high standard. With really friendly staff. Breakfast had a lot of choice for all tastes. And again the staff were really friendly I would personally like to thank Vanessa for her help when she called the chill out restaurant.

We were in general happy with our stay at the Rabelais. The hotel is in a great position slightly out of the centre of town so it is very peaceful. Loads of parking. The garden and the swimming pool area look very inviting for summer visitors. The room was comfortable but we would have preferred better lighting. It was not good for reading. Excellent bathroom with a large shower. Spotlessly clean. Sadly a previous guest had spilled coffee on the carpet just as you enter the room which really stood out on a beautiful beige carpet! Food and service in the restaurant was excellent on both nights. The only thing that let it down was the unfriendly reception staff. Training in customer service needed!

We stayed at this hotel in the summers of 2009 and 2014 for an overnight stop. We & are 2 children thoroughly enjoyed the hotel, swimming pool, ping pong and restaurant. Last night we stayed once again. No pool as it was January but we played ping pong & used the sauna. We were not disappointed the hotel still maintains high standards. Very comfortable beds and fantastic food.
