  Non touristic family restaurant. You can get by with Spanish. Absolutely fantastic traditional food served in the traditional way. Not trying to hide lack of ability with modern food serving. Perfect fish and the best steak made on open fire. A must go.

  Our 2nd visit to this restaurant and lobster this time. What can I say except amazing! We think it was also great value at €45, but the starter of fois gras was on the expensive side. However we knew the price before ordering, and it was wonderful. The staff are very attentive and quick to respond to requests for service, and having the food cooked on the fire next to you means you can see everything being served. Therefore the next meal is definitely going to be the côte de boeuf. I would recommend trying this fab restaurant to anyone, expect a big bill if you go for 3 courses plus wine/beer etc, but it is without doubt worth paying more - as the old saying goes "you get what you pay for" 😀

  Well if you have seen my previous review you will know that a cotes du boeuf was the next meal. Well we went again last night, hubs had the cote du boeuf and I had the filet with fois gras....SUPERB! Can't wait to visit again next year when we return to the wonderful Vendee 😊
