Mouilleron-en-Pareds is intimately linked to two men born within it: Georges Clemenceau in 1841 and Jean de Lattre, in 1889. Go on the path of the millers, to meet the mills, formerly numerous in this town and the one near Mouilleron-Saint-Germain where the Colline aux Moulins is located.

The town is located in the east of the department, in the lower boccage, on a territory rich in small charming villages in the Vendée. Not far away, we recommend visiting Bazoges-en-Pareds and its pretty medieval garden. A few more kilometers away is the pretty village of Vouvant and its Mélusine Tower, to be discovered.
