The castle is absolutely magnificent, I loved it very much. It is just a 7-minute drive from Puy du Fou. What makes the experience even more pleasant is the charming little country road that leads to the castle, as well as the presence of a renowned bakery nearby. However, I would have appreciated the presence of a kettle and a small refrigerator in the room. Anyway, I recommended it on social media.

Disappointing stay, could do much better at little cost. The setting, castle and park, were nevertheless promising - making our youngest hope for the arrival of a princess! But the lack of little touches, and even the absence of the service elements expected at this level, leave the impression of very stingy management. The bare minimum in the room with only 1 soap dispenser for 4, for the shower, bath and sink! without extra soap (which I was very happy to have brought), 2 large towels and 2 small towels for 4 (bath and hands therefore…), no kettle, no mini fridge (storage of medicine only possible in the restaurant located in the other establishment),…. We asked for a pair of additional towels and another dispenser to allow use of the sink while one of us showered: request not taken into account. We were later told that the towels were “hidden” in the cupboards and soap was enough - sic. The breakfast is not worth the 15€ price tag either: no eggs, only 1 Lipton basic tea offered,…. slightly Spartan. The location at the gates of Puy Du Fou cannot allow this poor quality/price/star ratio.

A castle steeped in history, especially if you visit Puy du Fou! A beautiful park with remarkable tree species. Optimal conditions for a wedding or reception. Thanks to Thierry for his welcome and his kindness, the rooms deserve a little care logistically: let me explain: in terms of small touches it's great (tea, coffee maker ok) but perhaps lamps and bedside tables placed and fixed. But otherwise great immersion in a medieval castle! Well done! I recommend (waking up with geese and honey from the castle.. breakfast +++) to do it again, we'll keep the address 😉
