Go clamming

Whether with friends or family, shellfish gathering is an activity that delights young and old alike. Grab your buckets and nets, it's time to go in search of crustaceans. The best spots for shellfish gathering are on Grouin beach, and between Porte des Îles and Sainte Anne beach.

Before you set off, remember to check the tide times and safety guidelines. Discover the ocean in a whole new way: on your hands and knees, searching for scallops and razor clams. Don't waste any time; this activity only lasts until low tide, unless you'd like to extend your fishing trip with a refreshing swim.
