La Gapette opens its doors and embarks on a great adventure. This open-air café is above all the story of two men, the result of an unlikely encounter between an old rocker Daniel Biron and a young actor-director Enzo Martin, who, convinced that an open-air café and a performance venue could offer a delightful artistic and cultural mix, were able to combine their dreams and hopes to bring this project to life.
La Gapette is a place to enjoy a good local beer, savor platters, and take in the food trucks, concerts, and entertainment. It's also 1300m² of cozy, rustic space nestled among oak and chestnut trees, all brought to life by a dynamic and welcoming team. It's a place of inspiration and creation, built on human values of listening, respect, and sharing between all generations. A unique and convivial setting in the heart of Les Epesses, where the passion for the arts, celebration, and the taste of good things comes alive.
From a board game with friends over a drink, to a couple sharing a charcuterie board, to a show dedicated to children, a local music group or a dance for our elders, everything is an excuse to get together and finally take the time to live and share passions and artistic worlds.
The lights go out... and come back on!
La Gapette is also a much bigger project and this autumn the indoor performance hall will open where 200m2 will await you to continue these timeless bubbles sheltered from the weather.
