Brasserie Garatelle Simple and relaxed atmosphere in Vairé in the Pays des Olonnes

The Garatelle brewery is a craft, family-run brewery located in Vairé in the Pays des Olonnes region since 2017. The company's goal is to produce organic beers and lemonade using traditional methods. Sylvain and his sister Marie will welcome you to their brewery for a tour and a taste of their products.

The name " Garatelle " comes from the name of stones of Neolithic origin present on the lands of Vairé and which bear the name of Garatelle.

A range of beers is produced year-round: blonde, amber, white, red and IPA. They are available in 33cl and 75cl bottles or in barrels. Ephemeral beers are added to the range to bring something new. Several medals were won for the brewery's first participation in the 2024 Lyon International Competition : Gold for the blonde and amber, and Silver for the red.

The company is committed to an eco-responsible approach, notably by setting up bottle deposits with the service provider Bout' à Bout'.

A shop adjoining the production premises offers direct sales.

You can find the products for sale at the weekly Friday morning market on Ile d'Olonne and from a network of retailers, mainly on the Vendée coast.

A guinguette in the brasserie garden is open in July and August on Thursday and Friday evenings. It allows you to discover the drinks on tap and spend a pleasant, friendly time listening to music. Concert evenings are planned on certain dates in the summer.
