  We discovered it by chance and we weren't disappointed. The staff are very pleasant and friendly. The owner took the time to chat with us. The bread is good. The sandwich deals are excellent, and there's a wide selection of drinks and desserts. We're bringing back some Vendée brioche, which is also excellent. Bonus: they accept holiday vouchers! 😁

  Unacceptable: Lack of humanity and refusal of service in your establishment Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to inform you of our visit to your bakery this morning at 12:00 PM in La Roche-sur-Yon, an experience that proved particularly appalling. I wasn't feeling well and urgently needed to eat to regain my strength. We came into your establishment hoping to find service worthy of a local business. Upon our arrival, the bakery was completely empty: we were the only two customers. When I simply asked for a panini, your employee replied, with a mocking smile: "I'm all alone, I don't have time." When I told her we would leave if she couldn't prepare it, her only response was a dismissive and contemptuous "OK." Preparing a panini takes two minutes. All you have to do is open the bread, add the filling, and let the machine heat up on its own. Making excuses about being overworked when there are only two people in an empty shop demonstrates monumental laziness and sheer incompetence. But beyond the deplorable professionalism, it's the complete lack of humanity and the blatant contempt shown towards a physically unwell person that are unacceptable. Your staff preferred to let a distressed customer leave empty-handed, with misplaced irony, rather than do their job for 120 seconds. Faced with this refusal to assist and this lack of respect, we went to eat a ribeye steak in a real restaurant, where hospitality and respect for the customer still exist. Your behavior this morning is a disgrace to the profession. If preparing a sandwich is beyond your abilities or your will, you should consider changing careers.
