The Sigournais Castle is near Chantonnay. A first construction dates from the 10th century. Its polygonal enclosure is very characteristic of the architecture of the time. It is surrounded by greenery, in a very natural setting, very pleasant for walking. You can visit the stately home and the keep. You will see two drawbridges, perfectly preserved. Inside, a rich collection of coats of arms from different territories is presented to you.
