Brasserie La Louette

The Brasserie La Louette is located in Les Herbiers, in the heart of the Vendée bocage. It was born in 2019 from a desire to share craft beers, in a friendly spirit and in a concern to limit as much as possible its impact on the environment. All the beers are produced from 100% organically grown raw materials (malts, hops, spices and other ingredients of agricultural origin). Partnerships are developed on a local scale for the raw materials and the marketing of the beers.

The Brasserie La Louette offers all year long a range of 6 permanent beers: blonde, white, amber, brown IPA, triple and stout. The brewery is also committed to creating ephemeral beers with local and original ingredients. Thus, a short-lived beer was made with fresh hops (harvested the same day less than 15km from the brewery), another was concocted with Saffron Vendéen and the last short-lived beer was made with  organic bread (recovery of unsold bread).

Another special feature of La Louette is that the beers are brewed by a woman, Cécile, who created the company and who has been joined by Mathieu, currently an apprentice.
