  Stayed for the second time in two years in our motor home. This time in July when there was more going on, especially during the day time and in the evening when there was a wide range of entertainment for all ages. As always, very welcoming with ultra clean facilities. We will be back in 2024. This year we brought our bikes and had some very enjoyable rides along the river into the Port. Ann and Allan from Poole, England.

  Amazing place and super friendly staff. Nothing too much trouble to make your stay fab. We camped on a standard pitch and had plenty of room for our 5m Bell with large awning. Facilities are clean and never busy and the summer entertainment program was a great bonus. Easy walk to the Beach 10 mins (dogs allowed) cycle path on the doorstep to venture accross the Vendee but ultimately everything on site that you require with large supermarkets within 5 mins drive. Would I return? You bet ya it was fantastic ❤️

  Really happy that this campsite has lived up to expectations. Lovely welcome and offered the opportunity to choose our own pitch. The pitches are large and hedge lined offering privacy and shade from well place trees (depending on the time of day!). The showers and loo blocks are immaculate and modern. Large shower cubicle, big enough for kids as well as you (if you have them). The cleaning routine in these troubled times is excellent. The site has direct access to the cycle path taking you to the beach, St Gilles itself or further. The nearest access to the beach is about 800m away down the cycle path. The campsite has a good sized pool and in season a bar and takeaway. For those into boules, there are nightly gathering of teams at the squares. Loved this place. Will definitely be back.
