  L’Océan Residence in La Tranche-sur-Mer: a very disappointing stay. Upon arrival, there were no spaces available, so we had to park in the disabled spot to unload, as nearby parking is paid. The welcome was hasty, and having to pay for parking after 6:30 p.m. didn't help matters. The ground-floor apartment was clearly lacking in cleanliness: sand everywhere, grease marks on the kitchen walls, and an unusable closet. The bedroom is tiny and stuffy, with no ventilation, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. The bathroom is also problematic: the mechanical ventilation system is broken, constant dampness, walls soaked with water, and mold and rust were visible. On our last day, a leak between the bathroom and the dining room was reported to us as "normal," which was surprising, to say the least. The pool also leaves something to be desired: an uninviting footbath, poorly cleaned edges, and minimal maintenance. The only positive aspect remains the location, which is very convenient, being close to the beach and shops. Other than that, the accommodation is poorly maintained, the hygiene is questionable, and the comfort is very limited. For the price, we expected much better.

  Needs to be refreshed but the pool and location are good

  All it needs is a big exterior makeover and it would be perfect!
