Fairly decent beach for a stroll but definitely not for swimming, strong under currents and rocky shoreline would make for no fun. Nice place for kids to explore though.

A big beach with a nice difference between high and low tide. Low tide gives plenty of sand to play on. On the two days we visited, nice waves on the first day and nothing on the second day. Secure swimming area at the main entrance to the beach, and surfing area to the right. Little cafe as well as a place for body board and surf board rental on the beach, and lots of people taking surfing lessons. Parking gets busy from lunchtime. Walk for five minutes, you can find a quiet place compared to around the beach entrance. 10 minutes walk along the beach is the nudist area.
