En période estivale, il est fréquent que l'Autise disparaisse dans une nappe souterraine. C'est pourquoi le moulin fut dès le 19ème siècle actionné par un moteur entraînant le moulin lors des périodes d’étiage et tourne toujours aujourd’hui. (...)
